From directional, street and real estate signs, to larger dimensional cans for wall mounted signs, aluminum is a choice material. Compared to other metal substrates like steel, aluminum is lightweight, rigid yet flexible, rustproof, waterproof and resistant to most chemicals, perfectly smooth, and long lasting. It can be cut, routed, machined or fabricated into any shape or size, comes in a variety of thicknesses and can be use on one or both sides. Aluminum can also be finished various ways such as painted, powdercoated or textured (brushed, ground, etc).
